A 1925 Stanley Model SV 252A "on the Pipiroa ferry on the road from Auckland to Thames where A&G Price were located," according to John Stewart. The children in the car are almost certainly the Stewart's children and Keith Stewart is evidently sitting in the front seat passenger side. "H.H.S. may have been on a fact finding trip to A&G Price prior to enticing Doble to New Zealand for discussions. The fact that HHS is driving a Stanley would indicate the 1925 - 1927 period. This modest sized stream has now been bridged." Source: Stewart Archive.
